It’s strange how much one day can be so different from the next. Today was a better day for me. I felt great and just enjoyed what I’ve done so far. I tried on a shirt tonight that a month and a half ago was way too tight. Now it fits perfectly, almost too loose. I’m looking forward to getting some new clothes that fit the new me.
My wife made a comment last night with how defined the muscles in my calves are. Great, but my calves are plenty big and I really don’t want them to get much bigger. To help I tried something new on the treadmill to avoid doing much of an incline. I set the incline at 2% and then I would alternate the speed. 3mph for 2 minutes and then 4mph for 3 minutes. I also threw in 5lb weights during the 4mph to get more resistance training. I was surprised how many calories the treadmill said it burned and my shirt sure showed it. I was excited about all that.
