Different Tuesday

Today I had to run in the morning and do my circuit training tonight.  It’s not usual that I do both on Tuesday, just run, but I had to catch up.  Funny thing tonight is that it didn’t seem too hard.  I was doing the butterfly press and had the feeling that this is not as hard as it used to be.  I could hold the weights all the way down, let the muscles strain and then easily bring them back up.  I don’t want to add weight because I don’t want to build the muscle.  Maybe next week it will be time to add a third repitition and try to do things a little bit harder.

It’s bittersweet because Biggest Loser is coming to an end soon.  I hate the game that it is, I just want to watch the progress.  It’s been a great inspiration and a source to learn more about what to eat, how much to eat, and when to eat it.  I had a conversation with a guy today who is not eating much and then doing these mad workouts to try to lose weight.  He was shocked that he gained weight and I told him that his body is going into starvation mode.  That his body needs fuel to burn the fat.  I don’t think it sank in though…….

Late Lunch

Tuna sandwich on whole wheat bread, soy nuts and almonds, 2 wasa crackers


Chicken salad with cucumber ranch dressing and soy nuts, 1/4 cup of moosetracks ice cream


Yogurt with granola
